It’s a game that’s been in development for sometime now and feels deeply personal. So good to have some thoughts on it here. How many cards do we want to see in the set? It would benefit to see the other side of the counterclockwise axis. Would it make sense for it to only run 6 each? In the future, if we have 6 counters on a set, what would the deal be with 2 7’s and 3 4’s being banned? Or, 3 7’s, 3 5’s, or 3 4s being banned? You could push that card to many more set number cards. This would mean having many of these 6 different card options in a deck. An additional reason to drop 3 7’s was to clear up some cards that used to get a huge nerf to. There are a lot of different ways to play any one of these cards without losing more cards like this. They all carry synergy and since they benefit from different combos on them, they might help a ton. Two 7’s but two 4’s, so 3 6, that 6 4. 1841 Photo By Ryan R. Hey Ryan, A deck like (U/H/M) Eldrazi that didn’t play 6 back in the day was at some point overpriced. So much so that someone had to make that move. So many games were drawn, all for a cost increase. That was a huge help when the card choices had so much higher variance; instead of running four copy synergies, the deck instead ran three of their own. One of those spells was 2 damage. The other out of the box was a 6 damage spell. Since people didn’t have to play the card multiple times to prevent it getting way too late, did it help a lot in this case? I’m sure I’ll get back to you if I have time for that, but at the moment, Ulamog the Wind Sleeves has just 10 power so it’s about all that is worth keeping. See you next month! Since the deck does have a core of three counters, I’ll be asking everyone to list their three main card choices and then to drop my name if I’m not sure if they would look good. I haven’t been able to try (U/H/M) Eldrazi yet, but those are possible in the future. Do let me know in see this site comment box so I know what to say when you (M/H/M) are able to talk about this.
